In 1989, Castle Marne was purchased by the Peiker family. It was derelict and abandoned. One year later—after extensive restoration and renovations, the Castle Marne Bed and Breakfast opened its doors for business on the 100th anniversary of the original construction of the structure. Each year, we celebrate both anniversaries on the first of August with a neighborhood party.
Today, the Feher-Peiker family continues to maintain and operate Castle Marne as a BnB and Inn, curated art gallery, and center for wellness in Denver’s Historic District.
In order to support this commitment we use all natural cleaners throughout our hotel. We also stock and offer sustainable products—including the soaps, shampoos, and conditioners we offer here. In addition we use low-flow, high-pressure shower heads and turn over rooms every third day (or as requested by the guest)—all to help reduce our footprint.
And because we can—we also support local charitable and volunteer efforts to protect the environment.
