1. Haunted Field of Screams
What happens when you combine a 35 acre cornfield with haunting attractions? You get the Haunted Field of Screams which is open from Sept. 26 to October 31. On Halloween, head to the Haunted Field of Dreams, just 15 minutes from downtown Denver. Head through the Haunted Field of Screams, the Dead Man’s Maze or the Zombie Paintball Massacre. This isn’t for the faint of heart!
2. Ghost in the Gardens
Hosted by the Denver Botanic Gardens, guides will lead you through one of three ghost tours at the gardens. Enjoy ghost stories from the over 100 years of history at the Gardens. The Denver Botanic Gardens proudly partner with Castle Marne on several events and is located just minutes from each other.
3. Skeletons in the Wardrobe Tea
Head to the Molly Brown House and have tea while Victorian Halloween traditions, costumes and games are enjoyed by the patrons. Tea is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Halloween. 4. Denver Halloween Costume Ball
Dress in your Halloween best and head to the Denver Halloween Costume Ball. One of the best events on Halloween in Denver, this event features a $1,000 “Best of the Ball” costume contest along with an unlimited bar, live entertainment and DJs. It will take place in the Grand Ballroom of the Sherman St. Events Center.
5. Elitch Gardens: Fright Fest
Bring the kids out to Elitch Gardens as they can trick-or-treat during the day along the Trick-or-Treat trail. At night, the park is transformed into a zombie apocalypse with plenty of frights. Guests are admitted with regular admission. This is one of the best events to celebrate Halloween in Denver!
6. Boo at the Zoo
Many of Denver residents love Boo at the Zoo, the Denver Zoo Halloween celebration which has 25 trick-or-treat areas, animal demonstrations, family entertainment all with the beautiful fall sights of the Denver Zoo. Note that the Boo at the Zoo takes place a week before Halloween on Oct. 25 and 26.
7. Colorado’s Coolest Corn Maze
The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield has an eight acre corn maze which is one of the most popular mazes in the country. There are food vendors, pumpkins, and more at this amazing event. Celebrate Halloween in Denver with this awesome corn maze.
