Why You Need to Visit Rock Bottom Brewery

You don’t have to look far to find great craft beer in Denver. In fact, the options can be overwhelming! Don’t worry though, because Rock Bottom Brewery won’t let you down when you need a cold brew, a great dinner meal, or both! This Colorado brewery makes brews in house, no matter if you’re at their location in Downtown Denver, Chicago, or Baltimore. With seven locations in the state of Colorado and two in Denver, grabbing a pint of one of their handcrafted beers is easy. You need to visit Rock Bottom Brewery, and here’s why.

Rock Bottom Brewery

Freshly-brewed, craft beer is what put Rock Bottom Brewery on the map, and has earned them over 125 beer awards. When you visit the Denver Downtown location, you’ll have your choice of delicious array of beer! Here’s a look at a few of the beers currently being served:

Oat PA: The Oat PA is the IPA being served right now, and if you want a slightly more inviting take on a hoppy standard, then this 85 IBU-packing ale is for you.

Chili Kolsch: The Kolsch is a classic German beer with a light, refreshing taste. Rock Bottom Brewery in Denver is currently serving a spicy Chili Kolsch, perfect for those who like to stray from the norm with their drinks.

Snake Spit Black India Ale: A Black IPA sounds like a contradiction, but the taste accurately represents the classification. Expect the appearance and full flavor similar to a stout, paired with the hoppiness of an IPA when you order the Snake Spit.

Baltic Gnome Porter: If you prefer beer that resembles a cup of black coffee in appearance, than the rotating selection of Specialty Dark beers at Rock Bottom Brewery is for you. Currently on tap is the Baltic Gnome Porter, weighing in at a hefty 8.4% ABV and featuring a coffee-tinted, malty taste.

El Chupacabra: Whether or not the terrifying creature actually exists, this Mexican-style lager does, and unlike a Chupacabra, it’s a welcomed sight for anyone. Best served with sunshine and a need for something refreshing.

The Rock Bottom Brewery menu is as impressive as their draft list! Everything from shrimp and steak, to jambalaya and tacos can be found on their menu! Try the Lobster & Shrimp tacos, Cajun Pasta, Avocado Chicken sandwich, or one of their Ale Dough pizzas (yes, the dough is made with Rock Bottom beer!), and your taste buds will thank you.

Live Music

Enjoy live music weekly on Friday nights in the summer at Rock Bottom Brewery. The Denver Downtown location has a great schedule of performances for this summer, including Cycles on July 8, and Moses Jones on August 19. Music begins at 7 p.m., and best of all, it’s free!

Denver is where Rock Bottom Brewery started! Their Denver Downtown location can be found at 1001 16th St., Unit A-100. The brewery is open 7 days a week, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

If you don’t live in Colorado, don’t worry, because Rock Bottom Brewery has locations all across the country! Find Rock Bottom in cities like Long Beach, CA, Chicago, IL, Seattle, WA, Minneapolis, MN, Bethesda, MD, and more.
