Here are the Best Denver Wineries

1. Balistreri Vineyards

Balistreri Vineyards is one of the best wineries in Denver to visit during your trip. This family-run company has a gorgeous tasting room and event space wedged into a district full of warehouses and corporate office buildings. Balistreri Vineyards offers exceptional tastings and tours of their cellars where you’ll find award-winning wines aging. Indulge in a delicious wine and food pairing with their lunch and small plate options as you sit out on their beautiful green space. They also host seasonal events like summer garden parties and movie nights (with wine of course).

2. Kingman Estates Winery

Kingman Estates Winery is ironically right around the corner from Balistreri Vineyards. While this Denver winery tasting room may not be as extravagant as Balistreri, they still offer a fantastic selection of premium wines. You can make a reservation for a private wine tasting where Chardonnays, Zinfandels, and Cabernet Sauvignons are the main features. There are multiple tours and tasting options depending on which wines you want to sample.

3. Spero Winery

If you’re going to escape the hustle and bustle of the Mile High City center, head about 20 minutes northwest of downtown to Spero Winery. This Denver winery is home to a wide variety of handcrafted wines stored and aged on-site. Every Saturday, you can enjoy a free wine tasting where their boutique white, red, and dessert wines are on display for your taste buds. You may even want to take a couple of bottles back to the Castle for a delicious candlelight dinner in our dining room!

4. Silver Vines Winery

This quaint and rustic cellar-themed Denver winery is an excellent place to spend an afternoon wine tasting. Silver Vines Winery is also about a 20-minute drive northwest of downtown, so you can quickly drive your rental car or take a taxi there after a day of shopping at some of the top places in the Mile High City. From Merlots to Sauvignon Blancs, they have a wide selection of wines that you can sample in their beautiful tasting room.

5. Bonacquesti Wine Company

The bright and vibrant tasting room at Bonacquesti Wine Company is home to a large selection of homemade wines and imports from around the world. They host classes, events, and several other events at the end of the week where wine, music, and festivities are the highlight of the show! Make sure you stop by this Denver winery located just 10 minutes north of downtown.
