The third floor of the Castle Marne was originally the Ball Room for the mansion. The John T. Mason room is one of four third floor guest rooms. This elegant mini-suite features a king-size brass bed, and a modern bath with shower. Enjoy a commemorative display of Jack Mason’s extraordinary butterfly collection.

The Tower Room, on the third floor with 17 ft. cathedral ceilings, features an antique French beveled glass armoire, 1 queen brass bed and 1 double brass bed to accommodate up to 4 people. Large fluffy bathrobes are available so you don’t need to pack one. Your private 3/4 bathroom is a few steps down the hall.

The Colonel Platt Room is a very private corner room on our top floor and features a standard queen bed, a private bath with its original claw-footed tub with shower and an outdoor hot tub for two on the private covered balcony.

This smaller, cozy third floor Melissa room, named for our daughter is our most popular room. It  features 17ft. cathedral ceilings, sunny decor, a Queen size cherry bed, and a private 3/4 modern bath with shower.

Named for the first owner of the Castle Marne, the Raymond Room is a small room featuring an antique iron and brass double bed. The private 3/4 bath has pedestal sink and shower. Relax under the stars in your private hot tub for two on the large balcony with outdoor seating area.

The opulent Lang Room, named for the Castle Marne’s illustrious architect, will charm you with its tall Queen-size four poster bed and unique step-up stairs. Ever hear the term “climb up into bed”? This is what they were talking about. Paisley wall coverings and original wood floor enhance the furnishings.

The Van Cise Room, very popular with honeymooners and other romantics, features an original fireplace mantle and hardwood floors. Your private bath is complete with a marble topped wash basin and claw-footed tub with shower. Relax beneath the stars in the trellis enclosed hot tub on your private balcony.
