The third floor of the Castle Marne was originally the Ball Room for the mansion. The John T. Mason room is one of four third floor guest rooms. This elegant mini-suite features a queen-size brass bed, and a modern bath with shower. Enjoy a commemorative display of Jack Mason’s extraordinary butterfly collection.
The Tower Room, on the third floor with 17 ft. cathedral ceilings, features an antique French beveled glass armoire, 1 queen brass bed and 1 double brass bed to accommodate up to 4 people. Large fluffy bathrobes are available so you don’t need to pack one. Your private 3/4 bathroom is a few steps down the hall.
This smaller, cozy third floor Melissa room, named for our daughter is our most popular room. It features 17ft. cathedral ceilings, sunny decor, a Queen size cherry bed, and a private 3/4 modern bath with shower.
The opulent Lang Room, named for the Castle Marne’s illustrious architect, will charm you with its tall Queen-size four poster bed and unique step-up stairs. Ever hear the term “climb up into bed”? This is what they were talking about. Paisley wall coverings and original wood floor enhance the furnishings.
This sunny and spacious room boasts hardwood floors, a queen-size white iron brass bed, and bay window overlooking the Victorian garden to let in lots of sunlight. Your private bath has its original claw footed tub with shower and Victorian style “pull chain toilet”.
